Smoke Launcher
RIDOS Defence has developed the 37/38mm Launcher system, which can quickly disperse a mixture of different types of non-lethal ammunition types to variable ranges. This provides law enforcement forces with the tools to get the situation under control while minimizing harm to civilians, police forces, and public property.
The Multiple Launcher can deliver large quantities of non-lethal ammunition in a very short time, covering larger areas at distances from 50 up to 210 meters. It can be mounted on vehicles, marine vessels, or defensive structures.
The smoke grenade launcher serves as a passive protection device and smoke discharger. It encompasses various models, such as M243, M64, M257, M250, M239, L8A3, and M226. These launchers are essential countermeasures, employing cloud-screening and obscurant systems to provide effective protection. Equipped with multiple launch tubes, they are often integrated into the Light Vehicle Obscuration Smoke System, which utilizes XM176, HCWF, and M225. Notably, the M239 launcher, manufactured by RIDOS Defence, is responsible for launching the L8A3 grenade.
